A confused sea lion has found it’s way into our new KESAB Education Centre and we need your help! For your chance to win a FREE class visit to the Education Centre, we invite you to submit a short paragraph answering the following questions:
- What is the sea lion’s name?
- Where did it come from?
- How did it get like this?
- Why is it important to care for our environment?
Our sea lion has a name!
Thanks to the Year 4 students from Bethany Christian School Paralowie, the sea lion at the KESAB Education Centre has been named – LAPISI!
Lapisi is Samoan for ‘rubbish’. The students told us that Lapisi has come from the Pacific Ocean where a lot of this material accumulates when not disposed of correctly by humans. Lapisi wanted to make a change, so tried to eat it all.
The students encourage everyone to make one positive change, and imagine the impact that could have on the environment.
Lapisi hopes to see you at the KESAB Education Centre soon!
