KESAB Education Centre
The KESAB Education Centre is located at Integrated Waste Services (IWS), Wingfield.
The centre is a purpose-built education facility on a working site, where visitors can have a sensory experience of what happens to their waste and recycling materials once their bins leave the kerbside.
Students will participate in engaging educational activities and have an opportunity to view IWS operations. The session also incorporates visits to local recyclers and commercial composters.
Note: Visiting the KESAB Education Centre environment involves waste odours and potential for dust. Please discuss any concerns with KESAB staff before booking.

Statewide Recycling Education Centre
Statewide Recycling is a ‘Super Collector’ of 10c deposit drink containers from recycling depots throughout South Australia, and the Statewide Recycling Education Centre is a fantastic showcase of recycling and reuse.
At Statewide, students will experience up close the sorting process of 10c containers, learn what happens to those materials, and much more as they explore what goes in our bins, how to reduce waste, and why it matters.
Activities include: Super Sorter, Canny’s Adventures (microsite), Household Habits, Classroom Cleanup, Window Watching and Conscious Choices.
Note: Statewide Recycling is a working facility. Students will have limited exposure to loud machinery. Ear protection is available on request.
This excursion can also be combined with an excursion to the KESAB Education Centre at IWS Wingfield.
