- The KESAB Sustainable Communities program encourages local and regional South Australian community’s participation engagement to improve the local environment by enhancing long term sustainable practices.

- Sustainable Communities celebrates the real, innovative and sustainable practices across the spectrum of social, economic and environmental actions and achievements of South Australia’s regional and rural communities.

- The program will continue to assess community environmental action across the categories of community engagement, waste, water conservation, education and innovation, biodiversity and energy.
