Bazza the Bunyip travels through Riverland and Murray Mallee Region

BAZZA was a prominent character achieving iconic status delivering anti-littering and environmental sustainability messages almost two decades ago. BAZZA made a return from the deep in 2016!

KESAB has brought BAZZA back to reach the next generation of custodians of the River Murray, and all South Australian wetlands and riverine environments.

BAZZA is on a continual roving display throughout the Riverlands, Murraylands and Adelaide and has been residing at the following places and events:

  • Morgan Christmas Pageant
  • Riverland Field Days
  • Morgan Public Library
  • Meningie Australia Day Celebrations
  • Mannum Visitor Information Centre
  • Morgan Landseer Museum
  • Loxton Library
  • Renmark Civic Centre
  • Waikerie Library
  • Morgan Living River Festival
  • World Environment Day Fair, Adelaide Showgrounds.

He is currently residing at the Monarto Zoo for an extended period to be incorporated into Nature Theatre storytelling and Book Week, just to name a few!
