Here at KESAB we have been working hard over the last few weeks to ensure we continue to deliver top-quality sustainability education to the South Australian community, despite the challenging and ever changing landscape we are all now dealing with. While our education programs have traditionally been based on face-to-face interaction, our Education Project Officers have been focused on identifying and creating new online learning platforms and educational tools to ensure ongoing teacher, student and community engagement.
Beginning next week, we will be delivering our community waste and recycling presentations, hands-on workshops and professional development training for educators virtually through Zoom. This includes council specific sessions, which focus on the services provided by different councils, and general sessions for all residents across South Australia. All of these will live webinar-style sessions, allowing for continual interaction between the audience and KESAB Education Officers in real-time. KESAB has also begun a weekly Facebook live-stream, to provide our social media audience opportunity to ask questions and engage with our Education Officers on a regular basis.

In addition to live-streamed events, KESAB resources, activities and interactive microsites are all now in the one place on the KESAB Events page for easier access.
